INTERIOR
Light and space

Damilano’s projects are now characterized by a highly dynamic conception, and their attention to geometries organized to create sequences of spatial events. Also of importance is the play of light introduced by glazed surfaces located on various levels, coupled with an ever-present relationship with the surrounding natural context.
Today, at a time of crisis, his works are almost exclusively designed based on principles of environmental sustainability, and zero-energy impact.

The dialogue between spaces is continuous: the bathroom opens onto the bedroom, the kitchen onto the living room, the latter rising up towards the mezzanine level to create spatial and visual continuity.
The lightness of the construction is contrasted by the weight and texture of the stone pier at the entrance, reinforced by the wooden canopy.
Wood slats and sliding panels screen the most private spaces.

The flat roof is designed as a hanging garden accessible from the bedrooms.
The house is fully automated by a technologically advanced domotic system that allows for the control of all functions even from a remote location.
